I designed Gigi to be made as a toy that I could make multiples of in small batches. Each of the fourteen parts in Gigi is partially turned on the lathe, and then finished by hand. 

She has been a big hit, and I keep promising to make her a few friends...a dog, a badger, and maybe even a mouse to play with.
